Standing at 828 metres, the Burj Khalifa is the undisputed centrepiece of Dubai’s skyline. Here’s everything you need for a perfect visit.

Getting there: The Burj Khalifa is located in Downtown Dubai, easily accessible via the Dubai Metro (Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall station).

Ticket types: There are three main options – Level 124+125 (General Admission), Level 124+125+148 (At The Top SKY), and the Sunrise experience.

Best time to visit: Sunset slots are the most popular — book at least a week in advance. For fewer crowds and better prices, choose non-prime morning slots.

Photography tips: Bring a wide-angle lens or use your phone’s ultra-wide mode. The best photo spots are on Level 148 and the outdoor terrace on Level 124.

What to wear: Smart casual is recommended. The observation decks are fully air-conditioned, so a light layer is useful.

Duration: Allow at least 90 minutes. The elevator ride itself is an experience — you’ll reach the 124th floor in under 60 seconds.
